Joinery Ltd is a medium sized Joinery Manufacturing company, formed
in 1972, so we've over 30 years of operating success.
Occupying over 20,000 sq ft of factory space on the Thorp Arch
Trading Estate between Wetherby (2 miles) just off the A1, and
Tadcaster (4 Miles) off the A64.
Ideally suited for access to all
Motorway Networks.
Suppliers
of both Contract and Purpose Made Joinery products, mainly to the
building industry with a customer base that includes Persimmon Homes
Group, Barratt Homes, Miller Homes, as well as numerous other
local companies like Hogg Builders, S Harrison Construction and ACJ
Developments.
We have a well-deserved reputation for delivering quality
products on time and have developed close relations with our customers; for example
we have been supplying staircases to the regional Persimmon operation
for over 23 years.
We
also pride ourselves that whilst we are able to supply the
construction industry we are still able to offer individual
customers, the same and or a similar range of products. We
have a dedicated workforce of 30, many of whom joined the company as
apprentices, direct from school. Our current trainees are
trained to GNVQ standards as (CITB Approved) through the auspices of
York College of Further and Higher Education.
In
order to maintain its position and improve the service to our
customers, Longwood Joinery is undertaking a machine renewal
programme, our latest acquisition being a Masterwood Project 320 CNC
router, complete with Masterwood’s own staircase software package,
which is now running and fully operational.
